Golf mates near me?

I’m wondering if there are any golf mates based near me, who would be interested in meeting up and playing a round?
I started playing about 6 months ago, current handicap is 32, so I’m not particularly good yet. I’m not bothered by anyone else’s handicap, as long as mine isn’t an issue!
I’m based in Northampton – happy to host a guest at my club or travel somewhere local-ish too.

Just had a quick look. Hellidon lakes doesn’t look too bad, or possibly Lutterworth. How does 15th sound?

15th would work for me. I’ve had a Quick Look at those courses and they both look like good options, happy with either to be honest

I am in Worcester and used to travel regularly to Northampton so If we can find a suitable date / time ai’d be happy to join you for a round. You might have to put up with the Mrs though? She also plays.

Yes, I’m definitely up for that. I’m usually pretty flexible with dates and times, so we should definitely be able to sort something out.

Maybe you could throw some dates at me and we’ll sort something out? I normally play on the weekends but I do have a day of holiday available so might be able to sort a weekday if that fits with you too?
I think the weather is the biggest challenge at the moment?

At the moment, weather is definitely not our friend.
I do have a few days that I can be free for a round – Thursday 27th Nov, Thurs 4th Dec, Friday 12th Dec, Sunday 21st Dec – if any of these are good for you?

So, 27th Nov and 4th December are not possible for me. I could look at 12th Dec and 21st, although the Sunday before Xmas might be difficult. I’ll see what I can arrange and get back to you in a day or so.
