Liam – you asked if you should leave in the banter and scenes when you’re not golfing….. YES… more of it! It’s frikkin priceless (I’ve tried to watch a few other golf channels but they’re boring as there’s none of that off camera stuff and just not funny). – what’s everyone else think?
Ya, I like the behind the scenes and the banter so long as its in good humour, it all seems too bitter lately, like you’ve told stevie to play up to the grumpy old man tag and he’s overdoing it. I think a man his age deserves a decent bed to kip in, might make him a little less of a whingebucket during the day, let the young lads have the camper.
Really like the extra coverage building up to the matches and the after chat. I agree with Cathal though, Steve is getting very tiresome and rather spoils what should be more fun.Ask him to rein it in please Liam. You, Pres and Nick are all doing a brilliant job.
I think Barlow’s grumpiness is what makes it – he has some classic one liners and he cops it for being grumpy… love it. Also for me the point of the campervan is to cause exactly the laughs it is – with who sleeps where and what utensils you should have etc – otherwise surely you’d just go in a car!

That explains it, I’d be knackered for weeks after that long on the road. Hopefully he’s had a good rest over Christmas and will have the old twinkle back in his eye after a bit of sunshine in January. He’ll always be my favourite golfmate. It can’t be easy for any of ye golfing in the cold in October, so thanks for your efforts, it’s worth twice what we pay for it.
