Loving watching the Ryder cup – nearly as good as the hidden gems. Love watching the tour tournaments on kayo/foxtel but just can’t stand the bloody yanks calling “get in the hole”. For Christ sake come up with something new……. Does its piss you guys off as much as me???
I am more concerned with the noise being made as the Europeans are taking their shot. Very poor show.
I just don’t think (no offense to our golfmates over the pond) that the crowd is painting a good picture of the USA. No good chat, obvs can’t handle their beer and blindly shouting USA, USA, USA into the void! Not even applauding good Euro shots (not all of them but quite a few)
It is supposed to be a gentleman’s game.
Correct John Owen’s – there’s always going to be banter and long may that go on, but be respectful when players are taking shots – and come up with some decent banter – the latest that seems to be replacing the “boring” get in the hole, is “fore right”. Barlow should go and shout “boom” every time a good shot is hit! There would be a lot of “booms” for Europe 🙂
